This page contains some information on FGTH's chart figures from all around the world, though
the numbers and details are pretty rough and sparse here and there. I am on a permanent
lookout for more detailed info from any country. Send anything you have on the subject to

Welcome to the Pleasuredome
Released October 1984.
Welcome to the Pleasuredome, the album, peaked at 6 in the
Network Album Chart. It stayed in those charts for 32 weeks,
from January 13, 1985, until August 31, 1985. |

|
The album stayed in the Gallup charts for 38 weeks. The album went platina (one million sales) and
sold about 4.000.000 copies worldwide.
The major hit single from this album; Relax entered the UK charts on November 8, 1983, at number
77. It spent 5 weeks at 1 from Januari 28, 1984, and returned to 2 in June, 1984, when Two Tribes
was at number 1. Together with the Beatles, FGTH hold the record of having had both the number 1
and 2 position at the same time. With the danger of being outdated: Relax is the fourth best-selling
single in UK history (Two Tribes being number 8 on this list) - it sold a million copies already in March
1984. In August 1984, Relax became Britain's longest running chart hit since Frank Sinatra's (!) My
way in 1969. FGTH equalled the UK record of having its first three releases hit the number one
position and were the first act ever to have its first five singles all in the UK top 5.
